Week 5 already? and, Pen Pal!

Can you believe we'll be entering our 5th full week of school? Time flies! Students have been doing a great job of stepping up their hard work and fitting into the 3rd grade routine.

This week, as part of our Patriot's Day activities, we wrote notes and made cards for our pen pal in Iraq, Lt. Bair. He's one of my friends from college at MUC and also a elementary education graduate. He's currently on his 2nd tour of duty. I sent our cards just today and we'll look forward to hearing from him soon (maybe even with an email). Check out our picture below of our class and the cards we sent him.
