We're Baaack!

As quickly as it arrived, the holiday season has passed and it's back to working and learning at PG!
Here's a few of the exciting things we can look forward to this week:
*starting a new chapter book, "King Max"
*learning about Martin Luther King, Jr. which will conclude with making a "Peace Wall" on our bulletin board!
*Seat Belt Safety presentation
*Our last week of the semester!
Remember, this is a four day week, and then a four day weekend.

Also, now that the holiday rush is over and more time is spent inside because of the cold weather, why not do a learning activity together with your child? Time spent TOGETHER is the most important and shows your child the value you place on their learning. Cozying up with a good book together is always a good choice (take turns reading pages and quizzing each other on details!). If you're more in the mood for some computer time, on the side bar on this page, there are links to some educational games. One was just added ("3rd Grade Skills") which breaks the activities down by concept. Have fun! :)
