Peace Wall

This week, students in 3T learned a lot about the importance of Martin Luther King, Jr. We learned about his life by reading part of a biography, hearing part of his speech, and watching a great video called "Our Friend, Martin." This video highlighted MLK's influence as well as life events. It was great video for students since it was a combintation of cartoon intermingled with historical footage! We concluded the week by creating a "Peace Wall" on our bulletin board where students were invited to write words, make symbols, or create a picture to represent what MLK or peace made to them. I was very impressed and proud of their creation! Enjoy the pictures above in case you miss the real thing!
